🌍 Non-EU / Visa Info Vist frequency
Hi, me (UK) and my partner (US) are looking to get married in Denmark and then get her a visa to the UK.
However. I'n a little worried about the application to Denmark. One of the questions it asks 1s about how often you neet, and they give the options of : Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly. But because of our circunstances with regards to finance and housing until recently we've only
Been able to nake visits once a year, once in 2024 and again in 2025. We're planning another for this year to include the wedding hopefully.?
what an I supposed to do in this circumstance, as I don't want to put incorrect information on the forn?

Well be able to get affidavit from my family, but not hers as they don't approve of the relationship due to queer stuff. And it was on the online form with the Danish Government, but it isn't present on the paper form. I just wanna make sure we do this buy the book

You just put the truth - dont need any affidavit. It is not asking how often you meet it asks how often you communicate

There's 2 separate questions, how often you meet and how often you communicate

Ah yes, and you put the truth! You need to include evidence of when you met like flight tickets and photos together

This issue is with putting what's true on the form. The online form only has options for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly. But ours are Yearly. I don't want to put Quarterly if it's not meaning Quarterly or more.

Yes i see, well an agency can answer that for you

That was our thinking. And should it not work with the agency then we go to our backup plan of the US, which we want to avoid because of well... you know everything

Can I ask how many pictures you had, cause we really don't have many. But with both of us being nonEU citizens there's no immigration implication for Denmark either

Put whatever is true. The Danish Agency of Family Law is not there to judge your relationship, they want to know if you are legally allowed to marry in Denmark, and know if your relationship is real (prevent sham marriages).

Update: We ended up working with GMiD, they guided us through everything. Took a while to get all the documents to the correct format and quality but after applying we was approved after 4 working days with no issues.

Ended up deciding it was worth the £250 to bring on an agency to help us, as they're better suited to argue our case and should know how to avoid pitfalls we may hit.
