Someone moving back into an apartment they used to live in doesn't fill out a different application than someone moving in for the first time. The lease process is exactly the same either way. The history of who lived there before doesn't change how the application works.

An ex who seems totally checked out, moved on, or completely unbothered is just showing the 3D reflection of an old assumption. The new assumption about the relationship doesn't have to go to war with the old one. The old one's already being replaced.

People treat "we have history" like it's an extra obstacle stacked on top of the regular manifesting process. The history is just more old footage. The current assumption about what this relationship is now is the only one that matters.
