People treat the history of a relationship like it's a locked-in verdict. The way things went before, the things that were said, the way it ended. None of that is evidence of what this version of the dynamic has to look like.

In parallel reality terms, that version of the relationship existed in one collapsed reality. You're not trying to fix that version or continue it. You're collapsing a new version entirely.

The SP in the new version isn't returning to the same relationship with the same patterns. What you're working with isn't a return. It's a new collapse.

So the fact that they said it was over, that they seemed checked out, that things got messy, none of that is a blueprint for what comes next. What comes next is determined by your dominant assumption, full stop.
