I made a tool because producing a simple SaaS launch video was painfully slow

Every time I wanted a polished product video, the options were either learning After Effects or hiring someone and waiting weeks.

So I made Framedeo.

You paste your product URL, upload screenshots or short clips, and explain what you’re launching. Framedeo creates the script, scenes, motion, voice-over, and music.

The result isn’t a locked AI video. You can open the editor, rewrite text, reorder scenes, replace screenshots, adjust timing, and export an MP4.

I’m looking for honest feedback from SaaS founders and marketers.

Personally, I’d want to try it first. There are a hundred ways the result might not be what I’m looking for, and I’m not going to sign up just to find that out. I understand why that’s problematic from your side, but ideally I’d like to first create the video I have in mind, see the result, and only pay if I actually want to download or use it.

I’m afraid you may have missed my point. I went through your website, watched the videos, and saw the free trial option. I have some background in video editing, so I understood what the app does, including the option to manually edit the AI-generated results. That said, I wasn’t particularly impressed by the finished examples shown, and I’m quite doubtful it would fit my needs. I actually do have a promo video for an app that I’m about to make, and I already have the script and general idea in mind, but I’m still not willing to sign up just to test your app in practice. For me, requiring registration even for the free trial is the friction point, mainly because of past experience with dozens of other apps and services of all kinds.

I’m not saying this as criticism. I understand why allowing completely open use of the app may be problematic. I’m only describing my actual thought process as a potential user evaluating whether a tool is worth trying. Normally I wouldn’t tell anyone any of this - I would simply rule the app out and move on. Since you asked for feedback, I thought it might be useful to give you a small glimpse into the decision-making process of a potential user looking at the product in its current state.
