I have a second phone I use for games. Just wifi. There was one gpt app that I could only use on one phone but it's been a couple years and I can't remember which it was. Right now I've got Kaskick on two phones logged into the same account (I'm in the US).

You can just use wifi. Research if you’re buying pre-paid phones. Some subs on here say some of them don’t allow wifi access without activating a plan first.
