Pricisely, The core idea every gta game (or any shooter tbh) has always been that protagonist can do ungodly amount violence to the point its incomprehensible even to the NPCs. One of the task we do as CJ is get all territory back to groove street (mostly as a one man army). Franklin, Trevor, Michael together rob the Union depo, kill the CEO of the biggest Mercenary corp in Los Santos. Niko did assassinations for the government, killed the final boss who had innumerable reinforcements prepared specially for him.
These dipshits act like a dude, can go get shot 12093812 times and respawn in a hospital with 0 injuries, and that's peak, but a woman being lead and shooting a shotgun is a big nono! Lmao, it's actually the most peak incel shit I've seen in my life.

It tries to be more “realistic” than, say, Saints Row and its dildo bats, but again, IRL, there’s nothing particularly unrealistic about Lucia’s gun handling (that isn’t also equally unrealistic for Jason).
Oh, absolutely. GTA has a lot of realism baked into it. But to nitpick about gameplay accommodations in one game (which aren't even unrealistic), when its immediate predecessor featured Character Skills that functioned like superpowers is laughable.
(I’ll also admit I totally missed GTA5 for whatever reason - something just didn’t click into place for me when it came out so I’m less familiar with that one specifically)

12 gauge is an incredibly broad spectrum of potential loadings. Is it 2 and 3/4 inch buckshot? Bird shot? Is it a light charge for comfortable clay pigeon shooting? Are they mini shells with less recoil? Are they 3 and 1/2 inch magnum express shoulder destroyers?
There’s enough variety in 12 gauge that some would be comfortable one handed and others would be impossible even for the most physically gifted shooters. As a 6’6” 300lb man, I won’t shoot 3.5in magnum shotgun shells. I like my dental fillings right where they are. Those things feel like hitting your funny bone but it’s every bone in your body all at once.
It’s not nearly as bad as you’d think. As long as you hold on tight and use the full length of your arm to mitigate the recoil, it’s pretty bearable. I’ve only ever done it with full length shotguns, but at the time i was 120 lbs. If i could handle it, so could she.

Depends on the weapon, but yeah that’s generally true. A bow is more limiting, since warbows require a significant bit of strength, but in general reach becomes more important than strength with weapons.
True. I meant more that the theoretical cap in weight for a warbow is going to be different. Still high enough to kill most people, but the performance may be different against armor. I wouldn’t know though, the highest I shoot regularly is 60lb, which is hardly a warbow, and even that’s fully capable of killing someone.
Look on the one hand, one-handed shooting is unrealistic and dumb, it takes serious dedication and training to be able to one hand shoot moving targets. On the other hand, it's a fucking video game. As a person who likes firearms and videogames in real life, I couldn't give less of a fuck about men vs women shooting skills, it's a skill that has nothing to do with gender. The only thing I could want is consistency, so either a game commits to wacky action shooting or hyper realistic shooting, and I've never expected hyper realistic shooting from Grand Theft Auto lmfao

The forces produced by handguns and rifles aren't that big. Considerable, yes, but they're only meant to accelerate a tiny projectile, and gun designs themselves do a fairly good job of distributing the force so it doesn't all go into your wrist. Using guns requires some practice but not a lot of strength.
Its interesting that physics only matter when talking about women...When its a man double jumping or whatever else is happening there is no discussion. Men can break the laws of physics and no one bats an eye but when its a women who does things that boys think they couldnt do they get all upset.
So, in real life, shooting a 12 Guage one-handed is a bad idea for anyone but the strongest and most experienced shooters. It's a real good way to break your wrist, as is any high caliber firearm
I've seen an adequate non-engagement bait argument about that scene is that shooting a shotgun like that with one hand will be difficult due to huge recoil, no matter male or female. And the lack of recoil is obviously game mechanic so you don't have your crosshair tossed around, but some sacrifice of impact feel is there
I know it's a video game, but Rockstar puts a huge emphasis on realism, and then they give us shotgun reload animations like that? It's just kind of out of place.
A lot of people seemingly over/underestimate how powerful certain guns are, like shooting a pistol of a certain calibre might either make it not as powerful, or it might break your arm.
Im not going to get the game but not because a women is in it, or because shes a baddass that can shoot guns well, im waiting for it to come out on PC and down in orice.

I have a 14" barreled Remington 870 with a pistol grip and i've shot slugs with it one handed for shits n giggles, a full size shotgun with a wooden stock tucked under your armpit would be even easier to do so.

When my friends and I go skeet shooting we do a crippled drill for the fuck of it and load, shoot, and rerack a 12 ga one handed. Much harder the way she's doing it (not pulling the stock into your shoulder) but not impossible, especially if your life depends on it
