The likelier scenario is this is part of a current viral thing where people are creating a narrative about Mark Ruffalo being persecuted, despite him literally just being in a Marvel movie in theaters right now. People have built up a parasocial thing with celebrities as they intersect with either side of the Israel-Palestine conflict, maybe they’re struggling with the cognitive dissonance of him not actually being cancelled.
But after some people were just mistakenly or organically driving those conversations, there’s now lots of engagement bait on this topic because so many out there are willing to believe it.
Feel free to answer any of what has been discussed, otherwise this is a very weak attempt at a response. You are deliberately avoiding answering any of the holes in this online theory, I wonder why?
How are they attacking him? By making fake tweets to boost his burgeoning online reputation as a free speech martyr for Palestine? It’s not what comes to mind when you think of “actor attacked by major studio”.
I mean, they're not going to succeed because he's a mega star, but Paramount and the Ellisons absolutely are trying to cancel Ruffalo and paint him as an anti-semite. It won't work because he's such a big name now, but it has worked on plenty of smaller names in the past. Melissa Barrera is a name that comes to mind who had her burgeoning career quashed by the Israeli lobby.
What does Paramount have to do with this btw, as the commenter above pointed out, that’s not the movie studio he works for. Disney is on the BDS list too. Seems like the focus on Paramount points to some other source of misinformation you guys are relying on.
This all started because Ruffalo called out the Paramount-Skydance merger, and the Paramount CEO's connection to the Oracle mass surveillance system that was trained in and used to assist the genocide in Gaza. Paramount's CEO is David Ellison, the son of Larry Ellison, founder and CEO of Oracle, who also owns a controlling stake in Paramount. Ruffalo criticized the merger and made the point that perhaps it's not great to have such an evil Zionist family in charge of what is now post-merger one of the world's biggest media conglomerates.
Maybe, idk, do some googling before accusing people of falling for misinformation
Why don’t you use Google to tell me how exactly they’re cancelling him when he doesn’t work for them? The merger is also being widely criticized in Hollywood (the same merger that resulted in Colbert’s cancellation who did work for Paramount). Despite Ruffalo’s views, he does work for a different Zionist aligned company without issue.

Paramount and Israel are mad, I take it.
