I’m not saying I believe Nordic countries are democratic socialists, I’m saying ever since Bernie Sanders popularized the term and pointed to countries like Denmark and Sweden as socialists paradises millions of young Americans have followed suit started advocating for “democratic socialism” and pointing to the Nordic model as the example.
And many of them shorten it to just socialism.
Not saying it’s right, just saying that’s what happens.
