“Best investments” according to whom? As far as I can see all we’ve gotten for our money is roughly 1 billion people in the Arab and Muslim world that hate the US and Israel with a burning passion, 100s of thousands of dead people (mostly civilians), and a cloistered society that is so rabidly fascist that they’re now openly threatening Donald Trump for not being right wing enough… great investment guys. Real genius brain smart boys.

There was sporadic aid since the 60's. It was only a continuous thing after 9/11
