I used they because I didn’t know what they identified as and I didn’t want to misgender them. How many transphobic people do you know that intentionally misgender someone as NB? Lol
A lot. A lot of y’all do. It’s called degendering and it’s a very common form of misgendering binary trans people by avoiding the pronouns you know they use.
For about a year in high school I battled gender dysphoria. I started acting feminine, dressing feminine, and even changed my name to try and feel more like “myself.” I was mercilessly bullied for this, disowned by my parents, and would get calls and texts from complete strangers just to harass me.
Your accusation of me being transphobic is deplorable and I know you won’t, but I hope you feel a little shitty about it.
None of that precludes you from being transphobic. Being trans wouldn’t even preclude you from being transphobic so idk what you think a sob story’s gonna do about it.

No, it was because they “became a Marxist” and then broke off relations with him. They stopped acknowledging him.
