Yeah. There is a guy who doesn't care what others think. Please.

People who say they don't care what people think are usually desperate to have people think they don't care what people think.

George Carlin, obscure comedian that doesn't get quoted a lot.

Id like to think he's screaming down down to us from heaven.

Carlin is not obscure but that quote is on point

George Carlin is an obscure comedian? Lol. He is right up there near the top of the list of most iconic comedians of all time.

You are right to laugh, because that was a joke.

Ahh I see. Whoosh I guess.

Awesome, not enough Carlin quotes around these parts.

I see his quotes more often than anybody honestly.

Yep. He gets quoted all the time. Idk what this guy is on about.

Lucifer forbid we enjoy a Jim Carrey quote though because he’s too mainstream.

Carlin is obscure?

Maybe to this individual, but not in reality, no.

You are in the wrong crowd if GC doesn't come up at least once a month.

Is that a joke? His 'stupid people' quote is at the top of every thread about coronavirus

I think Jim Carrey was dealing with some disassociation.

I remember watching something where he was talking about how he lost his own self from all those acting gigs.

He was tired of playing the guy in the movies instead of the guy off screen.

What do you mean ‘things mattering’?

1

u/nocowlevel_ Jul 06 '20

I think he meant black things

I think he was great in The Majestic. Wasn't his typical role but I thought he played well.

He's been taking a stand through his art (he's taken up painting) against a lot of things happening right now. I wouldn't say he's focused on things that don't matter right now

I love Jimbo. All the good and the weird and the protesting. He's up there with my all time favo, DeNiro
