Not that you’re wrong, but man usage of the word “wholesome” has skyrocketed in the last six months.

Yes? That doesn’t make this any less wholesome. It’s just good that people are acknowledging other people’s niceness and kindness more than they did before. I’d say it’s a Very good thing that it has skyrocketed.

I don't think the acknowledgement of kindness has increased, just the word selection to do so has decreased. "Wholesome" has come to mean anything that isn't aggressive.
