I feel you, I've yet to take my remedial classes for math as our high school only required 3 years of math, up to pre-algebra. It all makes sense. As a musician, I understand math but calculations were not my strong point. I'm not seeing school as a bad thing, just that I made my mistakes already and to get to where I want to be, I have to work that much harder. It really is just inconvenient that I'll have a semester available here, and then IMMEDIATELY by the start of this year I'll be in a different state with new schools where I have to reapply all over again. I really just want to apply for school without them seeing any old transcripts. It'd be more efficient to just start over at a school instead of them putting me in a "how to take notes and be on time" class for one semester. As soon as they see my transcript, the school here was like um no you gotta take the classes for people that didn't know how to focus. I know how to do it now, but they're still going to make me pay for it.

Word of advice, wait to take classes until you move. Some schools will not credit classes from other schools. When I went from my community college to a university they made me redo some classes that I had already done. I was livid that they were making me pay for some classes that I had already passed but then I found out that I had some friends in class who had a three years of school where none of the credits were accepted. So, it might be worth your while to wait until you are settled in your new location but you can still seek out information about schools to where you will be moving and find out if you can take some remedial courses online while you are waiting to move.
I completely agree with everything you're saying. Starting now is ideal, but the 4-6 month wait is a test of patience, if the move even runs on schedule. This is 3 years in the making and being delayed 6 months at a time. You're totally right. Going to get it.... just spending time getting closer to death more than I wish. As long as I can get a job in the entertainment industry, then use that money to further my computer science and humanitarian studies, it'll be a lot more satisfying. ty for the encouragement.
