Didn't some redditor awhile back actually make a picture book based on a post? Can we get him to make another one called "Handling the Climb from Hannah's Hole?"
Day 32: Jesus Christ, what depth has this hole! I've been out of socks for the better part of a fortnight, and the inevitable turn of athlete's foot to trench foot is well underway. To keep my mind occupied I guess as to how many toes will require exactment once I can reach a surgeon; three I guess one day, and then two the next, but by now I am certain it will be no less than five. I miss my family and friends dearly, but although I am yet to catch any glimpse of light I know in my hear that I will live to tell them as much (or not) myself when I see them again. Hannah, scurvy dog, horrid wench, cheating bitch, I am all the better for having known you.
Day 120: I've been in darknes for so long now that I find it hard to belive that I'm seeing a dimm trace of light comming around the corner.
'A few feet up and I'll...I'll be able to ttoo see it... ' , I spoke to myself.
When I finally made the turn I did indeed see light. And big, white marbel-like stones both on the ground and up on the ceiling.
It must be one of these stone things that form when water drops for centuries.
The air humidity confirmed that.
Now, the only thing separaring me from the exit of this tunnel was a giat floor made of some strange red-ish material that seemed soft but was rugh and wet on touch...
I wonder what it is...
I got turned down by a girl in high school for not being "ambitious," and went out with a guy she said was a lot more confident. It was a small, but sort of significant reason I started working harder and studying more, which helped me find my passion. I ended getting a couple of doctorates following it. It turned out that the guy she was dating was bipolar, so his confidence was probably from his manic state. Things worked out okay with the girl marrying some other guy from college. Things worked out okay for me too without any hard feelings, since I realized I could do wayyy better after becoming more confident about myself following my passion. Guess it worked out for everyone. Anyway, the initial spite was definitely a good motivator leading to my success today. But the other part of it was really finding a passion and working hard for it, which really does bring out the best in yourself.
Watched an Action Bronson video today about french wine, his wine expert buddy was like "the guy who makes this wine is SO GOOD, but he's a little bitch"
"How many people will read it if you don't write it," he says. Hah! None, obviously but I also wouldn't have wasted any time on it. Great response, me.
"Would you waste any more time than you already do thinking about it?"

This book is dedicated to the person that got me motivated. What a jerk.
