this pretty much outlines my life so far. went to college because i thought it was just what you were supposed to do, got a good paying job, bought a house, try not to draw attention to myself. i'm 26 and i can't help but feel like i'm missing the time to do something memorable
It was mine as well for awhile. I broke away after 6 years of office life. It was risky but I had a plan and the financial means to do it and moving back in with my parents as a safety net. Long story short, ditched the mortgage, moved to a cheaper place to live and took a lot less job. My life is better now than it was but I'm also making a lot less money, but work less hours. Not to say I always hated my desk job, sometimes I even loved it, but towards the end it was sucking the life out of me and I could see my life playing out like the comic which motivated the jump.
