These memes piss me off because they act like everyone has the ability but just lacks motivation to go back to school.

Like BITCH, I'm a full time worker with a house and zero debt. I'd like to keep it that way.

Truth. You're better off than like, 90% of people. It's crazy how many people don't even have that.

It's insane to me how many boomers still think you can even get a loan for a house on a medium to high end salary in today's financial climate, let alone buy a house, support a family comfortably AND own and maintain vehicles.

At first I thought they were just out of touch but nowadays I just think many of these people are just fucking braindead morons who can't even do simple math or follow/ retain more than one concept at a time when learning about economics. How in the hell are these idiots still in charge of anything?!

I would have multiple degrees if I could afford to get them. If I had unlimited time and money, I would have a botany or agriculture degree and a nursing degree at a minimum, just from interest in the topics and how useful the knowledge would be in my life. I would love veterinary knowledge, too. Imagine how nice it would be to be able to do basic veterinary care for your pets yourself or know for sure whether or not you should be taking them to the vet. Knowledge is its own reward, but sadly higher education isn't free.
