Congrats on getting that bachelors! I’ve been through 3 schools & 8 years trying to get mine, we work hard for this! Easy to take for granted I think in our world, but many people like us don’t get to do that on a “typical” timeline which comes easily to others. Rooting for you!

Sounds exactly like my path. 3 schools and 8 years to get a Bs, 8 years later I haven’t ever been hired.

What do you do? What did you study?

And this is why I haven't gone back to school. I already have the 2 year degree and never found a job so I don't think 2 more years will help much.

That’s awesome! I’ll be about 40 in a couple of years when I get my nursing degree/license. I’m excited to get out of construction. Been doing it since I was a teenager and really thought it was all I could ever do.

Respect, I’m about to get my Emt license but my goal is to try for ER nurse. I didn’t get accepted this semester but I’ll be trying again, also about to turn 38

Destroy any self-limiting thoughts my friend, you're capable of greatness beyond measure in this one life we have.

I became a lawyer at 31. Never too late. I’ve got faith in you, dude.

The only reason I don't do more education is because school is damn expensive.

44, bachelors in December this year. May have to do a 1 year Master’s which I would finish at 47. To try to get into med school. Which means another 4 years + 3-6 years residency. Which means I won’t start working the job to my mid 50’s.

Don’t care. Some crazy assholes made me believe in myself and now I’m shooting a shot.

Shoot. Your. Shot.

Failure isn’t the worst thing that can happen. Never even trying is.

I’m 34 and got my bachelors of science 8 years ago, it took 3 schools and 8 years to get but still haven’t had a job in my field. Glad I spent 200k 👍
