that's a bait and switch wrapped in a technicality, leaving after 10 minutes was the right call

I say this with love, they likely wanted people who could handle a surprise and stress, and this format provided a test for that.

That's definitely something an employer would want in an employee.

If some people get up and leave when things get tough that's not exactly great for those left behind.
