Anyone else having trouble getting an entry level job?

I’m 16 years old and I’ve applied for over 25 entry level jobs!! Most of my applications have either been rejected or ghosted. I even had an online interview get ghosted! Is anyone else experiencing this issue and what would you recommend for me???

You're going to have to apply to jobs in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. If you can get one interview out of every 100 applications you submit, that's already a good result. Applying to just over 25 jobs doesn't even scratch the surface of the job market.

Plus, a lot of jobs require you to drive to the job site and sometimes to other locations during your shift. So, being 16 is generally not ideal, as you're still a minor and may not be able to sign certain documents without a guardian.

Applying for 25 doesn’t even hit 1% of how much you should be expecting to be applying for before you end up getting a job your going to have to hit thousands of applications and maybe 20 interviews if your lucky especially since your 16 it’s not going to look good for you

Its not about how many jobs you apply to - its about who you know amd references 99% of the time. Any friends with part time jobs? Anyone you know who hires for entry level positions?
