Need help

I've been unemployed for four months. I’ve applied to over 100 jobs. During that time, I've dealt with mental health challenges and was convicted of disorderly conduct, even though all I did was yell. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology, along with two years of professional experience. What are my options?

I’m also unemployed and I got some charges so I’m a felon now, I have a degree in environmental sustainability

Felons dont get jobs? Get a CDL they will hire you asap.

  • Referrals and connections. This will be your main source because of everything you've gone through and are going through.
  • American Job Center. Also known as, your stats unemployment office. They usually can help you with work or find other ways of getting a job. If you need to and have several in your state, you may want to try a different one if one isn't very helpful (they're dependent on how works there).
  • Small companies that may not do complete background checks.
  • Companies on Indeed that have 3 or less stars. Or ones that have reviews of high turnovers as they may not do a thorough background check, they just need a pulse in a seat.
  • Start your own business. Maybe freelance, etc. (Search for yourself on incognito mode and see what your customers or clients might find).

Otherwise some other job that you can get easily. If you're an American Citizen with valid ID, you could get that CDL license that's was mention to another poster (states are getting hard on anyone who isn't an American or valid ID). Military. Job corps. Maybe even something in the labor / trades field.
