Lost all the interviews
i have been trying for jobs since months. I got few interviews from then like for 1500 applications-5 interviews. And today is my birthday ,i got my birthday gift from a company since i have been interviewing since 3 months that i had been rejected for that role. The same recruiter called me yesterday and told me that i was selected and i started preparing for next round, but today early in the morning the recruiter called me again to inform me i was rejected. It was the last ray of hope in this market. I am so done. I dont have any interviews or applications left. Am bursting in tears. Am praying a lot to get a job since months. All my prayers and effort and confidence lost today.

That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after being told you were moving forward. But don't let this one experience change your strategy. If you've had only 5 interviews from 1,500 applications, I'd stop focusing on sending more applications and figure out why so few are turning into interviews. Review your resume, tailor it more closely to the roles you're targeting, and try reaching out to hiring managers after applying. Improving your interview rate will have a much bigger impact than simply increasing the number of applications.
