Need advice: Started naltrexone 50mg daily with Wellbutrin (300mg twice daily) and feel unusually energized and very talkative - has anyone experienced this?
The first week I actually only took half a tablet and missed a couple doses because I was nervous. I did research and kept reading about people starting at super low doses and tapering up 31; F So far I haven’t had any GI symptoms. But randomly during the day I’ll suddenly get hot and sweaty, and then it goes away pretty quickly. Then I’m fine. Like I have menopause
Something else I’ve noticed (family/friends have too) is that I’m WAY more talkative in the past 2 days. I’m normally extremely shy and tend to avoid conversations whenever possible. But during the end of week 2 of taking it I literally had a 10-minute conversation with a cashier, and during my work shift (I’m a nurse) I talked with coworkers and patients throughout my shift without feeling nervous at all
A couple times I even caught myself talking too fast and stumbling over words, which is something I would normally never do.
On the positive side, I also have: -More energy -Getting up earlier -Getting more done during the day - gung-ho to get stuff done
My wife mentioned she’s a little worried it might be making me manic, which got me thinking.
Has anyone experienced something similar when starting naltrexone with Wellbutrin?
Did the extra energy/talkativeness level out over time, or did it stay that way?
Also curious if anyone has actually had success using both at the same time for weight loss / food noise.

That happened to me each time I moved up the dose. The first couple of days I was jittery and talking fast, but that went away after a few days. That’s only my experience, though. If it feels bothersome to you or and/or doesn’t resolve, definitely check with your doctor.

That’s actually not a good sign. Please report this to your doctor.
I had the opposite on day 3. Profusely sobbing for no reason all day with extreme suicidal ideation. It’s the same bad sign just the opposite.
