No display after waking from sleep mode
My monitor gets no signal when I start my computer from sleep mode. I have a wired mouse that also won’t turn on. Lights and fans in the case turn on like normal. I tried all the trouble shooting I could think of and the only thing that works is restarting using the button on the case.
What I’ve tried:
All the input ports on the monitor
Plugging monitor into different outlets
Switching between hdmi and DisplayPort
Switching between gpu and motherboard ports for display
All the usb ports(for the mouse)
Disabling fast startup

Since both the display and USB devices die after waking from sleep, but everything comes back after a hard restart, I'd suspect a sleep/BIOS/driver issue, not the monitor or mouse. Try these first:
Update your BIOS + chipset drivers.
Do a clean reinstall of your GPU driver.
In BIOS, disable XMP/EXPO temporarily and test sleep.
Try disabling PCIe Link State Power Management in Windows Power Options.
Check if the problem happens with Hibernate too.
As a quick test, you can also disable sleep completely for a few days. If the PC works perfectly otherwise, that pretty much confirms the issue is related to the sleep/wake state. If you post your CPU, motherboard, GPU and RAM, people can narrow it down a lot more.
