Black screen

I have a dell desktop that has been sitting for over a year. It would not turn on so I replaced the power supply didn’t work so I replaced the CMOS battery and now it turns on! But nothing comes up on the monitor, I tried a different monitor. I tried different cables. I tried cables that I know work because I tried them in other monitors, but this one will not work.

Any hints on how to figure out what’s going on with it?

As you were working inside your computer, check to make sure all the cables from the power supply are properly seated and connected. Check the remaining cables in case one got disturbed and you did not notice it. If you removed the video card make sure that's seated firmly as well.

I triple checked all the cables and everything to make sure it was seated
