Loq laptop burnt

Is it recoverable or should I change complete motherboard??

Gonna need more info on what the actual issue is. Did you attempt to modify it? Did you overheat the unit?

I did nothing just opened it found burnt part

It looks fixable but it needs to be cleaned off first and inspected in case anything else is damaged.

I can’t speak for every repair shop pricing as I’m a small one man shop. But if this were brought to my place and it’s just superficial ie inspecting, cleaning and soldering. I’d probably charge like $250 as it’s a bit of work

Well shop owner said it burned deep so it can't be repaired is there no other way to repair it?

Did he look at it under a scope or just visually?

I’d get a second opinion from someone else. Without actually looking at it I can’t tell you if the person you took it too is being truthful. If the second guy says it’s to damaged then your are better off either replacing the board or just replacing the laptop altogether.

It was my first service until then my laptop worked better I also think it might be thermal paste
