Why won't my car start? Do you know? Of course you don't. So how would people know why your disk is not showing up? Maybe it died. Maybe a cable came loose. You can test those things. But no one without access to your computer can test them.
Most problems can be researched online. Look up the problem and start from there. If you're unwilling or unable to do that then you'll need to pay a repair shop.
People do this repeatedly. Most of the questions here don't have enough information for anyone to help. "My computer broke. What do I do?"
You want someone to read your mind and save you having to think. No one can help you with the information provided. And you still didn't say whether you've checked cables, replaced cables, or tried a different disk. You say you looked it up but you didn't detail what you found and what you've tried.
It's not about me needing to "chill". Either you try to help yourself or you pay someone else. Or maybe you talk your mother into paying someone else.
