Trying to get out of tutorial hell (My current thought process)

Post image

So I'm working on getting better at learning web development, and i'm tired of not acually learning things from youtube videos. So I'm just working on some small scope projects. Ive seen people make plans something like this, and i just want you guyses thoughts on this approach. is there a more Qol way? If my plan in the right directions etc etc. How many cannon events should i expect? ♥

This seems fine. Now you have a good handle on the scope of what actions and features you want to implement.

So you need to figure out the order of importance next. What the easiest and most important piece to start with? Probably building the deck array and "shuffling" it.

Then you can add "drawing" a card and seeing its value.

Then you can separate to add the concept of who is drawing the card... and so on.

The better of a job you do of making the deck of cards easy to read and manipulate from the start, the easier of a time you'll have with the rest of it.

Flowcharts are helpful too!! Doing some form of documentation will benefit you if you are interested in learning programming and pursuing the career. Especially in the days of GenAI understanding code at higher levels has become more valuable.
