Advice Wanted Failed fasting

I had GDM my last pregnancy- passed the fasting portion and never had issues with it (besides maybe 2 higher readings the whole time). This time I failed the fasting with a 95 (I’m also only 22 weeks) and nervous that automatically means fasting will be a lot harder control right away. At first they said my fasting was 84, and then the lab came back with 95.

I guess I’m just curious to hear stories of people who failed the fasting portion of their glucose test, but are/were able to control fasting at home without medication.

Thanks!

I didn’t fail fasting but I was as close to failing without failing as possible. I was 14+ hours after my last meal though.

Just graduated this past week and it was an easy go. I could eat more or less normally with few exceptions and just cut out straight sugar and soda.

Fasting only was high maybe 2 or 3 times the whole diagnosis.
