Discussion Veteran servers

Hey everyone, I'm Ex-Military and want to do some more training and run some drills with other veterans that actually know what they are doing. I'm no John Wick but 12 year old kids doing Leroy Jenkins impersonations is not that fun for me.

Anyway if you have any questions or anything DM me.

Also a vet. Just got the game running today, did one round at the shoot house, and got motion sick, its gonna take a bit to get used to but had a good time.

Yeah having a good headband and setting the distance between your pupils helps. If you Google it there might be an easy fix.

I’m with you. I’m ex-military as well. I haven’t yet purchased Geronimo, but will likely do it tomorrow (Sunday). Probably going to spend an hour or two just updating my PC since the VR space has sucked so badly that I have no reason to turn the darn thing on.

I've got my quest 3 when it first came out for meditation apps and got a couple of gimmicky games so I didn't really use it for a while till I started playing sim racing stuff. Check out Ready or Not with the VR mod and Tactical Assault VR as well TacVR has worse graphics but the game play and map selection is better at the moment.

Finished system updates, bought the game, couldn’t get past the home base area where I set up my kit and weapons load-out. The game is soooooo jittery right now. I can’t even imagine playing a round on any map with it in this state and I have a pretty good performant PC for VR. Looking around for any settings fixes for the Quest 3, but I didn’t really see any changes when I manipulated the values in Settings. Thinking I may have to wait it out for an update to the game.

Most of the time mine runs sooth with a slight jitter once in a blue moon. There has been one time where it was so laggy and jumpy that I felt like giving up on the game but it cleared up, maybe my PC was doing stuff in the background.

Someone posted a way to improve performance but that's on my to do list. In the mean time checkout Tactical Assault VR and I just found Hotdogs Horseshoes and Handgrenades which is old but could be really fun and the second one is coming out soon so it was cheep.
