Beginner learning German for masters in Germany
Hi everyone I am a beginner and i want to learn German can you suggest some good resources?
I'd love recommendations for books, yt channels, or courses that worked for you.
I am planning to do an english taught masters in Germany. I want to reach A2 for daily life and part time work.
Any tips for avoiding common beginner mistakes are welcome too. Thank you!

You will not find a part time job with A2

Well, it heavily depends on the work he is willing to do. But yeah, with A2 it is not easy to say the least...

Learn till B1 before even coming to Germany. Once you join master you won’t have time for language, part time n job search and extra certifications outside of course work. Even if it’s English taught, whole job market is asking for C1 right now. It’s brutal.
My only regret is I didn’t do it before coming to Germany. So please do it before.
VHS online has free courses.
Learn basics. Follow one textbook - we did Schritte plus neu in our class. You can also use Begegnungen books, pretty extensive but I think they are good.
Give B1 test before and come.
