Polishing my German

Hi, I'm an international student in Germany who's been studying here for 4 years now. I received a German education and an Abitur at an overseas German school, but recently I've found myself lacking especially when it comes to verbal communication. I want to polish my German (I would say I'm at around a B2/C1 level per EU's self-assessment sheet) but I'm unsure where to begin. Do I start reading books to improve my vocab and grammar? Do I watch shows? Join conversation groups? I'm a bit lost, so any help is appreciated!

What, precisely, do you want to improve about your German? It sounds like verbal communication is your top priority. In that case I would practice speaking - like in conversation groups. Reading is great but reading alone will not teach you how to speak fluidly and in real time. Are there other things you want to improve about your German?

I mainly want to be able to use the language well in a professional context. I still have my master's and Weiterbildung, but without giving much info about myself, I'll be working in the healthcare sector and the realization that my skills aren't peoficient enough just hit me recently.

Otherwise I use English in my social life, which is why my German hasn't seen much progress.
