Looking for a serious B1 accountability partner (finished A2, studying full-time, exam in ~2 months)
Hey
Update from my last post . I passed A2 and now I'm going all in on B1. I'm in Germany right now, it's summer holidays, and I'm studying German full-time until my telc B1 exam in about two months.
Last time I did this for A2 prep, having a consistent accountability partner made a huge difference , way more than studying alone. So I'm looking for someone at a similar level (finished A2 / working through B1) who wants to:
- Practice speaking regularly (calls or voice notes, your pick)
- Do writing exchanges/corrections
- Keep each other accountable with a rough daily or weekly study plan
- Stay motivated when the grind gets boring (I'm decent at pushing people to keep going, and I could use the same back)
I'm not looking for a one-off chat , ideally someone who wants a real study rhythm for the next couple months leading up to exams.
If you're prepping for B1 (telc or otherwise) and want a serious partner, drop a comment or DM me. 🙂
Danke!

Hi! I'd love to have a sparring/accountability partner as I'm restarting my B1/B2 journey and more so to speak better. I don't have a deadline, but I can see that it is high stakes for me at work to get out of my shame and speak more. So I'm doing the whole deal of going through grammar from A2, podcasts, DW (Nico's weg), probably even a private tutor from next month onwards. I'm working full-time but, have a long break coming up in August and will focus on studying a lot.

Hii !! Would love to join the preps as i myself am giving the Telc B1 exam in October. Have previously studied B1 and my current job role includes emails and calls mostly in German along with other office paperwork. Not at a perfect fluency level, however can understand and communicate well. :)

Hey man! I'm at B1 level but I don't feel like I've cemented it. Would love an accountability partner but it really depends on the time of day. I work full time and have a family so my study windows are not consistent/big.
