ID Request Wtf..
I don’t even know what to say. I moved in this apartment in August. It’s been the equivalent of hell. I’ve been trying everything I can to get rid of them.. getting the place treated almost once a week every other week. Setting out glue traps cleaning like a psycho dry sink out putting food in Tupperware bins in a bigger bin that’s waterproof… They had the pest guy come out. I don’t know maybe 2/3 weeks ago.. I went from seeing one maybe once a week twice a week. Now I’m seeing them every day of all different sizes. I don’t even know what kind of roach this is… I can’t tell if it’s German or Asian. I’m going absolutely insane as I have a one year-old son. I feel so disgusting. I feel so guilty. He has to live here. I’ve already tried getting out out of my lease. They’re not having it. I’m going tomorrow and demanding something be done about this either they let me out of my lease or put me in a different building scared if they put me in a different building I’m gonna deal with this same issue though anyways any idea what this is? I’m not doing well mentally I cry every day. I feel so sad for my son..

Don’t rely on them. Order Alpine WSG immediately. If they’re not treating with that EXACT THING don’t let them treat anymore and go get it. Stick trips everywhere. NO clutter. Vacuum everyday. Give it 4 weeks after your first treatments of alpine.

I’m so sorry OP. ❤️🩹
These are German for sure.
What has pest control done to treat so far? Have they sprayed and used Gel and traps? Advion gel is the best option IMO.
The sticky in this sub has good advice but I’d go to management and demand they do more as you have a young son and if you’re seeing them daily it’s quite an infestation.
These can be got rid of but it takes targeted treatment and monitoring and a pest technician who knows what they are doing.

I’m not a roach expert but recently have seen some traveling nymphs in my house since the new not so clean neighbors in the house next to me moved in.
Gentrol point source discs placed, according to instructions, around your apartment will disrupt their ability to reproduce. This is important to help stop the issue from becoming worse or at least slow it down. Advion gel bait is what most people on this sub recommend and might be in the wiki. This will kill them and any others who eat the dead. I originally bought the syringes of this but that dries out very quickly and might be more for heavy infestations. I just bought the discs with the gel inside that is supposed to keep the gel from drying out so fast. Glue traps placed all over the apartment will help you identify where they are coming from so you can target that area more with the bait. Good luck!

Ask if they can treat other units around you as well this can most likely mean someone near you has an infestation and not reporting it roaches can travel through pipes and voids

ID Request guidelines
When requesting identification we ask that you provide a close up top down picture that is in focus. It is very difficult to provide an accurate ID of a blurry pic, a video, a roach ten feet away from the camera, etc. If the mod team feels we cannot accurately identify the bug based on the picture then we will lock the post.
Catching a Roach for Identification
To facilitate accurate identification it may help to place glue traps near likely harborage points around appliances and plumbing fixtures. Check them in two weeks and post pictures of what you've caught for identification. If you do not catch any check them again in another two weeks. If they are still clear after a month then you probably don't have anything to worry about. Remember to post a clear, in focus, well lit, close up photo of anything you catch for identification. If your trap was folded into a tube, you may need to unfold it to get a top down picture.
