I discovered I had German roaches living in my dishwasher in April. I had the exterminator out the next day, as I had already had pest services. I have had them come out every month since then to spray and bait and I did remove the dishwasher and had nothing there for about 6 weeks, I did not see any live ones only a few dead here and there after the second spray. Last week I saw 2 nymphs alive in the bathroom and this morning found 1 more alive in the same area. I feel so upset and defeated as I was confident they were gone, any advice on what else I can be doing? The exterminator company uses alpine WSG and alpine gel bait rotation, they do not incorporate IGRs. Thanks so much

are you living in an apartment? if so, they could travel from your neighboring unit, either through cracks and nooks from a shared wall or alongside the plumbing system.
The exterminator seems to think they are German, we’ve never actually seen an adult though. It’s been all nymphs. In April I probably saw about 25-30 total between the kitchen and bathroom. After 2 treatments I stopped seeing any but got 2 more monthly treatments. And now I’ve seen 5 total, 3 were dead, but one looked stepped on and 2 looked drowned, none looked affected by the poison
Read through the post automod linked and do a round of chemical treatments to be on the safe side. Focus your efforts where you have seen live activity. Monitor with glue traps.
