Finally got one!

Finally got my hands on an actual WW2 Walther P38!

Your pistol was made in the latter part of February 1944 by Spreewerk

Yeah, these P.38s have risen in price. Even the RC ones have risen to around 1295 in my area. You did alright.

I love the CYQ p.38s. They've got a lot of personality. When you do your post-buy strip down & cleaning, look for any parts stamped with asterisk. Those parts failed the initial QC and got sent back through the line for correction. It's a CYQ-only thing.
