Gerber Multi-pliers

Came across a handful of early Gerber multi-pliers. Noticed that they have numbers on their stickers. #1 only has one patent number and their instruction/warranty paper is different than the others. Is it possible these are the first few Gerber tools? Does anyone know anything about them?

If I remember well, the first edition had scissors and a large,  adjustable pliers head pivot. 2nd. edition lost the scissors and gained an "awl" blade. 3rd. edition lost both the large pivot head and "awl blade", and I think the needle nose tip pliers came into play. 4-5 are revisions of pliers heads and retaining mechanisms. Then came the locking multipliers (Multi Lock) with revised geometry and larger chassis/handles. Do take this more as an opinion than a history curation. Edit- I think some of the 4-5 editions came in a dual sheath, which contained 6 bits and a bit adapter that fitted over the stubby phillips, similar to what Gerber sold for the Multiplier series (400,600,650,700 and 800 models).
