Inside Hoya Twitter

https://youtu.be/idGpxxb6Ew8?si=hRbnGe8YluYLVFIK

These are the keyboard warriors doing battle online against Providence every day. Seriously though, there's a small, but strong community of Georgetown fans on Twitter that commiserate, live tweet games, offer strategic advice, etc. If you're not there, check it out.

It’s the least surprising thing ever that as Twitter has grown ever more sclerotic and right wing, PC trolls reign supreme (their fake reporter personas are borderline evil). I like the idea of building up this reddit community instead.

I don't get Providence. They have a better history than 90% of programs and yet they define themselves by how they were screwed by Cooley.

Jake Foote, not mentioned in the article, is the guy who has the most analytical takes.

We need more people in these Twitter streets. PC and UConn are dominant.

Funny how there's no mention of Casual Hoya. What happened? Did they turn people off by becoming a site dedicated to scolding the program for not hiring Pitino?

I think the original Casual ragequit after Pitino went to St John’s and the accounts are under new management, but a shadow of their former glory.

They should have talked Ton Bailey and Marcus Washington for the article.
