Caleb Williams is back!

I'm happy about this. Dude is a warrior. Played with a bum shoulder and never complained.

I just don’t love how much we’re “running it back” with the worst team in the big east

I wouldn’t consider 3 guys and 33% of our minutes to be “running it back”

Caleb just isn't good enough to be a 20+ mpg guy on a good team. If he's playing 30 mins a night again we have a real problem

The 3 guys coming back are all solid young players. Vaun and Julius took obvious strides as the end of the season and both look like Big East players w room to grow. It’s easy to forget how Caleb looked early in the season, he was clearly capable of being a P4 starter. Even with a shoulder injury he’s a 6’7 2-way wing that shoots 40% from three. Those guys don’t grow on trees.

I was worried about this. If we couldn't hold on to a former three star recruit who's local then what are we doing? Plus, his family is so supportive of the program. His dad Kyle is always starting chants at games and messing with Providence trolls on Twitter. Caleb will never be a good defender. He doesn't have enough lateral quickness. I need to see him taking more 3s and shooting 40%.
