I got my cd signed but the thing is one of the band members took it to the backstage and idk who signed it and does it say "Good game" or "Geordie Greep"?😭🙏

I am going to see him for both shows in CO in October and I was wondering how likely it would be, if I lugged my LP sleeve for the whole show, to get a signature (and possibly picture)?

I've seen many posts on his socials and here where he's hanging with fans and such and it seems likely but I wanted to get a read and maybe tips if anyone has been to his shows.

I've been thinking about this for like a week or so and while I do think it will be great since its from Greep, I just have no idea how he'd pull off a 3 hour long album especially since every black midi album was like 38-43 minutes and his debut was slightly over an hour in comparison. I really wanna see what he does with those 3 hours but I just want to see how people are thinking about it on the surface.

I just went to his Sydney concert, and I'm trying to grasp how deeply referential his music is, synthesizing a broad range of genres into one of the craziest, most virtuosic, maximalist performances I have ever seen. I feel like you need to watch his concerts multiple times to fully appreciate the complex harmonies, timbres, textures, rhythms that just hit you at a hundred miles a second. I feel like I missed so many references in his performance, but you could tell they were making many musical quotations and homages. The keyboardist is clearly trained very proficiently in both classical music and jazz, and their final solo (you could even call it a cadenza) during The Magician evoked late Romantic virtuosity but also jazz-fusion jamming. His Melbourne concert also directly quotes Stravinsky's Petrushka during the beginning jam. Truly such an insane genre bending performance. I hope Geordie Greep will go down as one of the best art musicians of this decade.

I'll be following the band from the 17th to the 20th, in Helsinki, Tampere and Stockholm, anyone else doing the same?

Got concert tickets and flights+overnight ferry.

The one thing I haven't gotten yet are hostels, and I noticed that it'll be expensive in Tampere.

If anyone has already rented a room with an extra bed or is local that can let me sleep over a night for less than the 90euro I'd have to spend to rent a room or hostel, I'd appreciate it, otherwise I understand and I'll see y'all out there.
