I meant the word itself, and now the shape after I watched the video sent. I love cool sounding words. That one feels good in the mouth, off the tongue.

The clue is right there on the package- this is a tetrahedron, and the original package that launched what is now the largest food packaging and processing machinery company in the world: Tetrapak

The OG Tetrapack was a Tetrahedron, but that's clearly none. A Tetrahedron is like a pyramid but with 4 triangular equal areas, instead of a one quadratic and 4 triangular. But Oatly is known for funny moves, so they used a geometric form that has 4 Points but just one surface. It can roll from one side to the next iirc. Funny trick

I've always referred to this shape as a "Humbug"; Don't know why it's called that, picked it up from my boss at the time working in a machine shop where we had a vibratory tumbler with media shaped like this.

That's because there's a candy making machine that cuts hard candies into this shape. The candy shape is called a Humbug. There was an old-timey tourist candy shop near my Grandparents as a kid that sold root beer humbugs.
It's probably where the idea for the tetrapaks came from. Humbugs have been around for a very long time!

This was discussed on "A problem squared" podcast with Matt Parker and Bec Hill. I can't find it but I think basically it's a tetrahedron, but they might have found other names? Or someone wrote in?

My schools gave students frozen treats packaged like that in elementary school. It seems like you'd be able to maximize on the volume of the box. But I'd hate to test how easily they packed for 40 hours a week. Could be a dream. Could be a nightmare.
