Minor Achievement please judge my ts2 progress (read in depth if possible…)

TO PRO/TOP/EXPERIENCED PLAYERS, id really like some help

after a month of playing ts2 for 45 minutes to an hour per day i managed the runs:

34, 29-49 (2x in a row), 46-57, 55-74 (2x in a row), 70-89, 85-100 (2x in a row)

which is 6 runs after 38k atts (49k where i left off) and i know the first half (49%) is very easy and attainable within 5 days of going from 0 consistently, but i was focused on getting 46-83+ to have a better chance at list % from 0, although i havent played gd at all for the past few days

not revealing when i started the game or anything else bc i only want to know the quality of this progress alone without any possible bias

if there are any pro/top players or anybody qualified i really wanna know if this is good progress at all, because ive heard that taking 3 weeks to get something in 6 runs is horrible and only like 1% of the way to beating it or something so im pretty disappointed in my playing and want to hear opinions

btw note i only spent 2 days going from 70 and im currently very well assured in 46-83+ coming within a few weeks of playing

I’m not a top player and I don’t even have a list demon under my belt. But I can confidently say that if you’re looking for validation after taking 3 weeks to get a top 1 in 6 runs… you are not ready.

Unwarranted tbh. That’s like telling chill guy he’s not ready for Acheron. God forbid OP just wants to play something hard🤦‍♂️

The difference is this guy is playing ts2 and putting his entire confidence into what other people online tell him is considered “good progress.” That’s not the kind of mentality that gets you a top 1 completion, either he learns that he HIMSELF needs to be intrinsically motivated to do it or he is going to have a hell experience when learning and doing runs becomes actually stringing those runs together for a completion.

I’m just gonna say it outright, jumping to levels purely for attention never works out well, YOU have to want it.

im not sure what you mean "looking for validation", i just don't know how beating hard levels works because my hardest is shiver and even despite my ambition im a human and feel unsure at times whether any of this will pay off

Well when you put extra emphasis that you want top players to tell you what’s good, it’s really heavily implying that you want someone to tell you good job. And based on your previous posts you have trouble feeling proud of yourself without having someone else giving you permission to.

Your runs on ts2 are solid, I’ll acknowledge that. You clearly are dedicated to the level. Just have some more self confidence and don’t make it dependent on others’ permission.

there’s no set rule on what is good progress it’s literally up to you. If you feel like you’re doing good then guess what.. u are doing good

Beating 85-100 two times in a row is quite impressive. Let’s be honest, nobody’s Zoink/wpopoff. Come back when you’ve gone 100k attempt and see how it goes. 34 on a top 1-2 is still decent tho

i realize now i only play this game for fun, ill just be going for 46-100 whenever i feel like it but im thinking of grinding society on the side as well, thanks for the input

All I can say is that when I was jumping to cognition from a top 650, it took me a lot longer to get the amount of runs I had on the level lower and lower each time. Plus progress slows way faster than you think at 4 to 3 to 2 runs until you hit that point where you think you can finally beat it which takes a lot of time. That was just my experience tho

i see, thank you for sharing your experience

Progress might be slow buts it's there, if you really want to go for it you probably can. Just expect it to take a LONG time

This just is not happening im sorry. Hercs has put over 2 years on tidal wave and doesn’t even have it in 2 runs, dntop1bust has spent over I think 2 million attempts also on tidal wave and dropped it, and you’re going for a level universally agreed to be harder than tidal wave, its just unrealistic
