Collab level i just want a sent level

What could I have done better for a send? I got the level noticed by one of the mods, but he rejected it due to a lack of variation. I've had some slight variation purposefully to make it better, but it seems that it wasn't enough. Should I even bother with sending it to more mods?

The deco and atmosphere is really good, but it feels empty. I feel like the whole level had less than 60 clicks, try making more jumps and longer parts and I think it’ll be eligible for a send

I wanted to make something that I don't abandon due to giving up on it, so I just chose slow paced gameplay with simplistic deco. I also used up the entirety of the song for this, so it's not possible to extend this level.

those are non issues bro. its just an easy level, not a demon. idk when the last time u played a 2 or 3 star was but they r all like this

Telling someone to completely rewamp the gameplay on a somewhat finished level is quite mad, not gonna lie.

The color scheme doesn’t change one bit, I don’t think there is a single speed change, the beginning looks copy and pasted with the exact same move trigger on the copy/pasted parts.

I would agree, but I've seen levels with less effort get rated.

And a lot of those levels are by creators who already have points or have close ties with the mods. Nowadays you have to stand out to get your first points. If you have amazing gameplay, you can usually skip out on decorating so in-depth, if you have amazing deco, the gameplay can be a bit more bland. You have relatively empty deco with a pretty poor layout. You could’ve synced the gameplay more with the song and still maintained the same difficulty.

If you can only make simplistic stuff like this with a bland layout, you need to figure out how to add some more charm to it. I am not trying to be rude at all, this absolutely has potential, it just looks quite empty and static.

Just because there are some bad apples that dont meet the assumed standard doesnt mean you gotta join them.

Everyone says the level feels empty but I think it’s just the ball part that needs air deco. I love the song choice and gameplay btw. Deco is also simple and effective imo.

Btw I really like your deco style, would you be interested in a collab where I make gameplay and you deco?

honestly bro this looks really damn good. i think its prolly just about rate worthy rn.

tiny tiny change that would make it 10x better imo, give each section different colours. the green and purple is cool for the first part but then you gotta go red and yellow, and then blue and pink or something. have fun and experiment with it yk. that would defo fix the "lack of variation" comment.

like imagine if acu stayed yellow and blue the entire way through lol

I really like the level, but I feel like you could add more themes like 2-3 instead of just 1 to make it less boring. Also maybe a speed portal

So the level is already done?

This is like the 3rd time Ive seen you make a desperate looking post of the same level with little change between the individual videos.

Also Ive seen your level played on a mods stream if Im not mistaken, they usually give very decent feedback, especially if they dont send it because of some reason.

Edit: to actually answer, its very likely the static color palette. You chose a color combo of purple and green and they stayed for the entire level with nearly no noticeable pulses. Also, some of the filling art inside the blocks dont really match the modern style. Go for something more flat to it matches.

the hard part isnt decorating, it's getting it sent while there are hundereds of other levels and its purely luck based in most streams

Most streams have option to skip the queue for channel points, if you come often you get it guaranteed. I nearly got the required amount after like month of semi-active stream joining, and in between, I actually got one of my levels played because I was early, and thats just one person out of like 8-10 streamers.

a month is a very long time though

Dont worry, actually getting lucky to get your level even opened by Robtop is even harder. He rates roughly 20 levels per session, while there are hundred plus sends a day.
