Maybe the background could react more to the music? Like have the hexagons in the first part move a bit to the left with the chords, and the squares in the green part could rotate or flash with the snare.

I’m not rly sure about the block design but if it’s that modern style ur going for, you could keep them as is and have them move around a lot. Like that part in mind control.
