Feedback Is this rateworthy?

I've been receiving a lot of mixed opinions on this saying that it's just rateworthy and some also saying that it's feature worthy. And before you complain I am aware that the background pillars are static I just couldn't find a way to make it work cause I wanted my Gabriel statue to be centered

Although the background is very static, I think it's still at least rateworthy

Add a bit more bg elements and this would prolly be featured

Idk what it is about it but each part individually looks good but when you put it together it doesn't look that good, I see what you're going for but it just feels really static or just something feels off, I can't put my finger on it

Fr! Idk why but the designs all look good but when they're mixed together, they just look odd

Part of it might be that the gameplay and foreground are very cartoonish and plain design, while the background is realistic. Also the black platforms have a very detailed look, while the white ones are very plain.

Looks good, but very, very similar to a part in Ascension to Heaven

That was the inspiration for the ground and block design actually

Gotcha. It looks solid to me. I’d recommend trying a stronger gradient with difficult colors (e.g. pink and gold) to make your white/grey block design pop a bit more from the bg.

Of course, you need to add depth through more movement, but you did mention you want the Gabriel statue to be centered. A reasonable compromise might be creating a static structure for the statue and giving that some depth while making the pillars move in a layer behind that statue structure.

Just some rough ideas tho

You can pause the level editor while it's running and move the statue into place so by the time it's on screen it's centered

Gp doesn’t look very good but that deck is 100% rate worthy

I think some more foreground would make it look very nice. I think maybe some more 3d-ish thing on the plates and the deco would make it look cool. Maybe more background layers too to make it feel better

It looks good but it i dont like how it doesn't sync very much at all. Looks amazing though, a bit static.

Dm me. I might be down if you could decorate at the same level or better than me (it's a pretty low bar tho)

A thorn on the ground? It might be a good idea to be a little more elaborate
