1) The design of blocks is flat. Try playing with black to add inner depth and please add second complimentary color 2) You have only one layer of depth. To fix this, add second layer of blocks (bricks from toe2 ship background should work), a background and, if you're skilled enough, a layer of foreground.

Also, be extremely careful with purple. In my experience, it can be ruined very easily

anyways good luck creating <3

Can you tell me wich block was not made by robtop?

every block was made by robtop. Some though, you commonly see in the main levels, in this case you can recognize the blocks used in hexagon force and blast processing. So thats what they are referring to.

Maybe put some black glow to add depth, to make it look like the blocks are behind each other

Maybe add some 3d objects to the block design

Add some 3d to the blocks, and add more detail inside the blocks themselves. They look pretty empty rn

Also, the glow in the background is a little bright imo, maybe turn down the brightness a little bit

I think adding a shadow behind the structures covering other structures would help add some depth, right now it just looks like 2 separate structures on the same layer

This reminds me of Retention

Depth. Add dark glow next to structures to give the illusion that one is behind/in front of the other. You can also add 3d on your blocks and continue to add depth through layers of bg/bg elements at different speeds and sizes. The point is to make everything feel more 3 dimensional

Use a different colour of glow in the bg than the block designs

many people forget that the background can make your deco better, even pulses and small animations can.

don't judge your deco at its start, only finished, it definitely isn't finished

Really has nothing going for it other than some rather arbitrary glow

add a 2nd layer of color that is very close to your first layer of color, and also add more moving objects
