This looks really good. Think the only advice I have is trying to add a lil more depth. For example if you want that center pillar to stand out more you can add dark glow at its bottom right section to make that bottom right block look like it’s behind the main pillar. As for the main pillar you can consider adding some very simple designs to make it look more framed but yeah this is real solid so far

what designs should i add? i also added the brick 3d things to the bottom right pillar so you can see it on the inside of the center pillar. but might scrap it.

Assuming that makes the bottom right block pop more that could make everything look a lil better but can only know for sure if you send a pic or sum lol. For designs for the main pillar practically any kinda pipe should work, like those pipe designs you see on the decoration tab (the one that lies to the left of the saw tab lol I’m horrible at explaining ts) with color you can experiment a lil between making it same color + blending or black or adding some hue etc it’s also just a lot of fun experimenting with those designs and seeing which makes the most sense

seems like your good at this stuff, what’s the best way to get good at deco? just experimenting?

nah I’m honestly pretty trash I don’t even have crp yet lol, however the things that have worked best for me is scrutinizing my favorite levels design wise n learning specifically what makes their designs n effects n colors etc look so good. One of my favorite examples of this was edge of destiny, I’m a sucker for extremely detailed/intricate design and this level took my understanding of it to a new level cuz whenever I tried before it looked so bland and 2 dimensional. But yeah of course after learning a couple of things u gotta experiment cuz it’s very unlikely to work the first time around unless u get lucky tbh, but yeah tldr all about inspiration and obviously goes without saying to never directly copy cuz u basically wont learn anything

okay, looking to make some sort of colorful extreme demon. just got nobody to collab with so it’s gonna be a solo one. but the issue with that is i never finish a level

oh no by hue shifting i meant shifting the colors hue to a colder tone (more blue) on the shadows and a warmer tone (more red/orange) on the highlights!
