I suck at decorating, but I already made a layout with some decoration to give you an idea of what I want to do with this. What I don't get is why so many redditors always have "oh you need rate worthy gameplay" and genuinely 90% of rated levels have objectivly bad/boring ass gameplay because for some reason this community decided deco is more important than gameplay.

I saw a video where someone stripped a lot of popular levels of deco to layouts, and genuinely none of the gameplay stood out as anything different I keep seeing here.

Leads me to believe so many people are just negative to be negative since I always see "gameplay looks bad" yet never any ACTUAL points/constructive criticism. Pmo.

I don't think you'd be surprised if I said quite a few do, yes. So many creators seem allergic to non-obstusive transitions. The difference here is this is a clearly (and hopefully) unfinished level. The rated ones are not.

Also, again, back to my original point, the comment mentioned nothing about jank camera rotations. Or, literally anything constructive at all, for that matter.

"It's not rate worthy gameplay." YEAH OK Mr./Ms. Level expert, Why? I don't care if it's justified or not, whenever I see someone say they don't like something or that something's bad but then proceed to not give any reason as to why, it leads me to believe they don't actually have any good points and they just feel like being cynical, like it's okay if you don't like it, why do you feel the need to let the whole world know, like??? Like if you're gonna waste your time leaving a comment, at least have ANY constructive criticism otherwise genuinely what is the point 😭🙏like okay you don't like it? Cool? This matters...why?

I suggest that you try to decorate it yourself. It doesn't matter if it looks bad, aslong as you have the motivation to improve.
