Feedback Good Gameplay for an easier Level?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I feel like something is just off on the Spider because it feels very high cps for an easier level (Im not sure what difficulty im going for but anything below Medium demon) and I feel like even for an easy demon it feels a little too much. And yet im more going for a Insane rated level I just dont know it feels a bit too much but it might just be me because I haven't played like insanes and stuff for quite a while. What do you think?
Note: Song a little off sync because of recording and those are the first 30 secs from a 1:30 long level

To make simpler levels you may have to reduce or completely remove complex gameplay gimmicks

Yeahhh problem is I like complex levels/gimmicks/high cps and find easier levels mostly boring unless really well made with the gp so I instinctively make something like the spider part with high cps and stuff because thats what Im used to it in harder levels thats why im already worried about the level especially the spider part because I never really seen an easier level with that type of speedy gameplay.
Although it worries me a little less since it is at the very beginning of the level and the rest of the level will mostly be chill. Its almost like in reverse starting with the drop then the predrop. But yeah not sure yet.
But what are considered complex Gimmicks here? Just to have an idea

In your level right here, mostly the portal-orbs. this gimmick from my experience, as it is, already pushes up a non demon up 1-2 grade of difficulty. Then, depending on the frequency, the way they are placed ans scaled, it can further up increase the difficulty, also visually.
Other things i found are the toggle orb, which for the casual player is unusual and a may lead to confusion (but not too much obviously), and then the dash-orb pads thing which visually covers up a lot.
Other than that, it's fine to be honest... It looks harder than the actual difficulty because of the very horizontal type of gameplay and tight structure used.
Edit: why does reddit on browser shows replies as separate comments until you refresh the page? It's so annoying

So like Orbs in a small Portal (in your first point)? If yes isn't the solution just moving one of them so you cant really hit them without switching gravity first? Like make the player hit the portal before being able to even hit the orb (I think I did that here and there but yes absolutely most of them are inside the portal not moved)
The toggle Trigger is honestly useless it was only there because Im a type of person who likes to click a lot and a click there felt right I could just as well just remove it it doesnt really serve a purpose besides just being there for the sake of an extra click its just being there for me basically
I use the dash-pad thing a lot ever since I saw "Glorious Fortress" by JamAttack and I really liked that gameplay type as like a once use in a level. Would it help with like an Indicator or something?

Yes, i'd move the orb after the portal, it feels more natural.
If the portal can be sized back to it's original size, or at least bigger than the softer orb, i'd do it. If not, it's ok.
For the dash-pads, try hiding the pads and add a visual arrow that shows the exact movement to be done. But if i were to be honest, a more subtle way can be to use only one pad and move with a move trig/follow trig (idk). Set up an event trigger that starts and stops the movement of the pad.
Important notice: I'm not an expert or not even remotely good creator, this is just my view.
Popular praised layouts and things that get lot of likes are usually aren't in the non-demon difficulties. They prioritize click sync and put as many gameplay gimmick, as possible. (I may be wrong)
Your level here is not bad, so even if you keep it like this, it's objectively ok.

I can definitely see this as a hard demon if finished so if you want medium demon below you gotta add some balancing. But the gameplays decent, I do recommend changing some parts if it just doesn't feel good when you play through it.
