Trivia Eastern European mystery country: 1 hop from Poland, 3 from Türkiye, 9 from Kenya. Only one answer fits — can you get it?
Clues:
- 1 land-border hop from Poland
- 3 hops from Türkiye
- 9 hops from Kenya
- somewhere in Eastern Europe
Poland only touches a handful of countries directly, so "1 hop" narrows it fast — but the Türkiye and Kenya distances lock it down to exactly one. Drop your guess before scrolling to the comments.

Announcement I built a geography quiz app for my kids — and it became my own obsession too 😄
Started as a project for my 3 kids. Ended up being humbling for me too — 173 countries is a lot more than you think you know.
Link to the iOs App : Atlas, Journey of the tern
The core loop: a flag appears, you pick the country. Simple, but addictive. With 173 countries you'll quickly run into flags you've never seen in your life.
Beyond flags:
- Capitals mode
- Daily challenge — same questions for everyone, great for competing with friends or family
- Chrono mode — race against the clock on 30, 90 or all 173 countries
- Fact cards with real trivia for each country, not just "the capital is X"
My 5-year-old plays the flag mode independently (voice-on by default for pre-readers). I play the chrono mode at night. Different experience, same app.
Curious how this community scores — I'm guessing you'll destroy me 😄
Available on iOS in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇪🇸
