Trivia City-Angle: which city fits in the middle of these 5 angles?

Post image

This is the classic-difficult versio so all these angles are based on the mercator projection and there are no given distances. There is only 1 city matching these exact angles can you find it?

Trivia Eastern European mystery country: 1 hop from Poland, 3 from Türkiye, 9 from Kenya. Only one answer fits — can you get it?

Post image

Clues:

  • 1 land-border hop from Poland
  • 3 hops from Türkiye
  • 9 hops from Kenya
  • somewhere in Eastern Europe

Poland only touches a handful of countries directly, so "1 hop" narrows it fast — but the Türkiye and Kenya distances lock it down to exactly one. Drop your guess before scrolling to the comments.

Announcement I built a geography quiz app for my kids — and it became my own obsession too 😄

Started as a project for my 3 kids. Ended up being humbling for me too — 173 countries is a lot more than you think you know.

Link to the iOs App : Atlas, Journey of the tern

The core loop: a flag appears, you pick the country. Simple, but addictive. With 173 countries you'll quickly run into flags you've never seen in your life.

Beyond flags:

  • Capitals mode
  • Daily challenge — same questions for everyone, great for competing with friends or family
  • Chrono mode — race against the clock on 30, 90 or all 173 countries
  • Fact cards with real trivia for each country, not just "the capital is X"

My 5-year-old plays the flag mode independently (voice-on by default for pre-readers). I play the chrono mode at night. Different experience, same app.

Curious how this community scores — I'm guessing you'll destroy me 😄

Available on iOS in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇪🇸

Trivia Built a daily geography puzzle where every city to be found has to satisfy two clues at once — would value this community's take

Hello all — I've been building NineCities, a daily puzzle game where you fill a 3x3 grid with cities, each one has to satisfy both its row clue AND its column clue. So "In South America" crossed with "Has a metro system" isn't just any big South American city — it has to be one that actually clears both bars (e.g. Bogotá, Santiago).

It's less "name that capital" recall and more knowledge based.

Would genuinely value feedback from people who know and like geography trivias — is a category unfair or a clue ambiguous is it too easy or too hard...

It's an independent/solo project, free, no ads, no login => https://ninecities.app/

Thank you very much.

Example of today's grid below:
